Ravda is a small seaside resort on the Black Sea with 1,745 inhabitants in 2005. The population has been replenished since 1924 by Bulgarian refugees from the villages of Koufalia, Bozets, Kirkalovo, Mikro Monastiri, Barovitsa, Ramel, Krya Vrysi, Kadinovo and Axos in the Aegean Macedonia. Ravda is part of Nesebar Municipality in Burgas.

Tourist
Ravda’s beach has fine sand with umbrellas for the tourists and qualified lifeguards. There are cafes and bars near the seafront offering refreshing drinks. Ravda has several large hotels (Hotel Krasi, Hotel Aura) and many private rooms and small family hotels. Also, a large number of restaurants, taverns and disco clubs.
The location on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast provides the beautiful weather and the tranquility of a rural village. The proximity to the attractive seaside resorts of Nesebar (World Heritage) and Sunny Beach offers numerous attractions and nightlife. Ravda has ecologically clean air and water as the resort is far from major cities and industrial zones.

There are no dangerous species such as sharks, poisonous jellyfish, scorpions, killer snakes, poisonous spiders or flies.
