Why not visit next season this earlier East Block’s affordable country bordering the Black Sea? Except for sunny beach holidays, you can also just stay in the capital, walk in forests, ski in winter, and visit old cities. Buy yourself a map of Sofia and take a reserve on your credit card of about the half what you need for your daily maintenance in own country in case you are a Western European.

Sofia at first glance
Imagine yourself in a city where Cyrillic characters dominate the cityscape’s information and publicity panels while you don’t know any Bulgarian nor Russian. The first rule: don’t panic. Especially taxi drivers are very proficient in sign language. They will contact spontaneously and offer their services. Taxis and public transport are quite cheap as is life in general in Bulgaria. Your biggest release will occur after you found a Bancontact and you notice that it works. Because of the banknote gliding though the money gap into your fingers. When you buy your ticket to Burgas you won’t see much more from this wonderful as in former description. Reason two for not to book to Burgas. See more for less money when you book to Sofia.
