Tenerife is a popular destination for travelers who want to enjoy the sun, the sea and the nature of the Canary Islands. In this blog post, I will share some tips on how to plan your trip to Tenerife, including accommodation, transportation, activities, beaches, nature and mountains.

Accommodation: Tenerife offers a variety of accommodation options, from hotels and resorts to apartments and villas. Depending on your budget and preferences, you can choose the one that suits you best. Some of the most popular areas to stay in are Costa Adeje, Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos, Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. You can find many deals and discounts online or through travel agencies.

Transportation: The easiest way to get to Tenerife is by plane. There are two airports on the island: Tenerife North (TFN) and Tenerife South (TFS). The former is closer to the capital city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the latter is closer to the tourist resorts in the south. You can also take a ferry from other islands or from mainland Spain. Once you are on the island, you can use public buses, taxis or rental cars to get around. The roads are well-maintained and signposted, but be careful of the curves and slopes in some areas.

Activities

There is no shortage of things to do in Tenerife. You can enjoy water sports such as surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, diving and sailing. You can also visit theme parks such as Siam Park, Loro Parque and Aqualand. You can also explore the cultural and historical attractions such as the Auditorio de Tenerife, the Museum of Nature and Man and the Basilica of Candelaria.
