Croatia has a well-developed naturist culture. A number of campsites and hotels are specifically intended for naturists. Naturism has been in demand since Edward VIII before he was king and his mistress Wallis Simpson, in 1936 allowed to swim nude on one of the beaches of Rab.

Schiereiland Istrië

Op het schiereiland Istrië zijn de volgende naaktstranden en resorts te vinden:

Village & Camping Koversada

Located at 45°08′6.5″N 13°36′18.5″E near Vrsar is the biggest and one of the first naturist resorts in Europe.

Camping Valalta

Located at 45°07′22″N 13°37′47″E near Rovinj.

Naturist Resort Solaris

Located at 45°17′13″N 13°35′08″E near Poreč.

Naturist Camping Istra

Located at 45°10′29″N 13°35′55″E near Poreč.

Kvarner gulf

In the Kvarner gulf the following nude beaches and resorts can be found:

On Cres island

On Cres island there are two beaches with naturist hotels and camping:

Kovačine

Kovačine is near the town of Cres.

Baldarin

Baldarin is near Punta Križa, located at 44°36′56″N 14°30′28″E.

On Krk island

On Krk island, there are a number of naturist beaches and at least two naturist camping resorts, namely Camping Konobe and Naturist Camp Bunculuka

Camping Konobe

Is located at 44°59′39″N 14°37′36″E. [Website]

Naturist Camp Bunculuka

is located at 44°58′10″N 14°46′03″E.

Camping Politin, now known as Camping Krk was a naturist resort but is now a textile only campsite.

Losinj island, Mali Lošinj

FKK beaches like Sunčana Uvala located around 44°31′15″N 14°27′45″E.

Dalmatia

In Dalmatia gulf the following nude beaches and resorts can be found:

Kasuni beach

Nugal beach

between Makarska and Tucepi.

Sv. Petar beach

Sv. Schiereiland Petar

Sv. Petar (Sveti Petar, St. Peter) is a small peninsula at the port entrance of Makarska, Croatia. It is named after a 13th-century squat of St. Peter. Nowadays the peninsula functions as a city park and beach. The rocky beach on the outside of the peninsula is clothing optional, but mostly used by naturists. Near the beach is the Sv. Petar lighthouse, built in 1884.
